Congratulations to the Mountain Green Fire Protection District, Mountain Green, UT, our 6/30/22 Biannual Headset System Giveaway award winner. The winning entry was sent by Chief Brian Brendel.

“The Mountain Green Fire Protection District is very excited to receive the David Clark Headset System Giveaway award. Our assist area is tremendous, nearly 600 square miles; we are one of only two fire stations in all of Morgan County. We have very long distances to cover, in freeway traffic, and on busy secondary roads. It will be so helpful to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with a David Clark headset system: preplanning operations, making crew assignments, hearing updates from Dispatch and Command, all while on the way to the call, without shouting over our present “earplugs” hearing protection. David Clark headsets will give us an edge in safety, operations, and crew comfort that we presently don’t have.”

The Headset Communication System will be designed and configured for the apparatus by David Clark Company. System installation will be provided at no charge to the department, courtesy of McIntosh Communications, Salt Lake City, UT.
