Congratulations to the Springs Valley Fire Department, French Lick, Indiana, our 12/1/23 Biannual Headset System Giveaway award winner. The winning entry was sent by Samuel Ray, Lt., on behalf of Chief Aaron Kemple.

“The David Clark headset system will allow the engine crew to communicate with each other effectively while responding to an incident. Communication is critical while en route, but sirens, air horns, engine noise and other ambient sounds can make it difficult. Not only will the headset system negate all of these [communication] isssues, but it will allow the crew to better hear important radio traffic as it is broadcasted. This system enhances safety overall. We are very pleased to have been selected as a David Clark Biannual Headset System Giveaway winner!

The Headset Communication System will be designed and configured for the apparatus by David Clark Company. System installation will be provided at no charge to the department, courtesy of Diversified Communicatons Group, Cincinnati, OH.
