Congratulations to the Transfer Volunteer Fire Department, Greensville, PA, our 7/24/25 Biannual Headset System Giveaway winner. The winning entry was sent by Assistant Chief Joshua McCloskey:

“The Transfer Volunteer Fire Department is very excited to hear about being chosen to receive the David Clark System Giveaway. This pumper is our first out and communications are a struggle in the cab due to the engine noise (515 HP), sirens, communications among firefighters in the cab and different frequencies. This system will correct the these issues and also limit distractions including reaching for the mic, background noise and limit error during instructions and operations. This will allow us to receive clear, pre-arrival dispatch/updates and enable the pumper crew to communicate with each other for clear orders from our OIC/officer. 

The Headset Communication System will be designed and configured for the apparatus by David Clark Company. System installation will be provided at no charge to the department, courtesy of Mobilcom, Meadville, PA.
